PRIDE FLAG FUNDRAISER
Clock, Inc's Pride Flag Challenge!
The LGBT+ community celebrates Pride each year in the month of June in honor of the Stonewall Riots, which occurred June 28, 1969. The Stonewall Uprising was a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States, which is why in Clock, Inc’s logo you will notice the hands of time are always set to 6:28!
2021 marks the 52nd year of Pridefest in America, where people across this Nation have been able to be free and open to state whom you love or identify, in this community… love always wins.
Clock, Inc recently relocated due to demand and the response to the growing need we have recognized in our community. Due to the previous nature of the space and the extended vacancy, the building needs several renovations, both structural and cosmetic before we can offer our full range of services, (including the expanded services that our new location will accommodate). The use of this larger space will allow us to expand our services to keep up with the increasing needs of the community, by providing more peer-led support groups, community events, workshops, counseling opportunities, transgender services, and additional LGBT+ youth programs. We will be able to reach more individuals from a variety of backgrounds, thus expanding and diversifying the community we serve.
With a $52.00 donation, you can be a part of Clock, Inc’s upcoming Grand Re-Opening Story. In return, we will send you an Inclusive of Color Pride flag in honor of yourself, a loved one, or that person who came out in high school and had no place to go except for that after-school support group.
Your support allows us to continue our mission! Thank you for being a part of our journey!
